Nightmares and sleepwalking haven’t made good bedfellows for Alexis Miller for the last year. Now that she’s been exiled to the swamps of Lebeaux, Louisiana to spend the summer with an aunt she barely knows, she’ll have to deal with the problem on her own. But Lebeaux has its own problems. People are dying here and no one seems to be able to stop it.
New friends and a new guy she’s falling in love with should make for a good summer, but Alexis’ nightmares and sleep walking are escalating and are populated with the wolves she sees lurking in the woods near her aunt’s home. The visions she’s seeing of blood and death have Alexis wondering what exactly she’s doing when she’s sleepwalking and the discovery of her aunt’s bloody shirt makes her question her Aunt Louise’s involvement in the recent deaths. Even the sheriff is giving Alexis accusing looks.
Before summer ends Alexis will learn an ominous truth. One that will change her life forever.

Enjoyed
By Donna Langley
Really was a good story! So much detail and love the characters. Didn't like those spoiled rich girls she was hanging with and was scary at times! Great job can't wait to read what happens next

Don't waste your money
By Amazon Customer
This book is another one of those "what's going on?" deals where the protagonist is left in the dark despite everyone else (including the reader) knowing the general premise. It didn't even make sense. You're in dangerous situations and could be hurting people? Better not tell you what's happening because your mother who hasn't experienced this and is currently on another continent says so, and it's a convenient plot point. Nobody would act like that! Especially since she makes other parenting decisions no problem.
The character relationships are pretty bad, as well, and the author relies on her being "attracted" to these people.
The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 (the minimum) is because it wasn't as terribly written as some of the other self-published books out there. This says more about the crap I've read than the quality of this story.

Thoroughly engaging!!!
By Jennifer D Collins
I really enjoyed this read. Characters, dialogue and story line were interesting and believable without being predictable. The take on the subject, werewolves, is different, in that it explores both good and evil sides. While it is a 'young adult' book, I think most any age (I'm 47) would enjoy the journey of Alexis as she finds that some monsters are real and not quite what the fairy tales would have you believe. It is a fun, fast read that has left me curious about what is yet to come in this series. Bravo Suzanne, I hope book two is double the trouble for your characters!;)
